  • Owner/Therapist Renee D Frierson-Briscoe, LPC, LMFT

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose training has been focused primarily in Family Systems Theory. I am trained to work with individuals (adults as well as children), couples and families.

With 13+ years of training and experience working in the mental health field and as a graduate of La Salle University, I have worked with a broad range of clients. Among my areas of expertise are Family systems, stress,  depression, anxiety, trauma and attachment issues, especially as experienced by and with African Americans.

I work with couples providing pre-marital as well as marital/relationship counseling. In any family, the couple provides the foundation, and as such it is very important to work to create as well as strengthen the family’s foundation.

I am an interactive, Solution-Focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to assist clients with effectively addressing their personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a personalized approach tailored to each client’s situation.  It is with compassion and understanding that I work with each individual/couple/family to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to achieving.
