Yolanda graduated from Missio Seminary in June 2022 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Yolanda has been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is passionate about therapy because she wants to assist people in reaching their fullest potential.
Yolanda’s primary focus is working with individuals that face struggles with grief. She is the author of several books, one of which is “Grief Speaks Journal.” Through her own life experiences and training Yolanda is grateful to be on the journey along with every client she encounters.
Yolanda’s style of therapy pulls from various models to find what works best for the client while meeting them where they are. Her caring personality allows others to be open with sharing their struggles.
Yolanda has a heart full of love for all people. When she is not working, Yolanda also enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling extensively.
